Enlisted in the Air Force directly out of high school in 1991. Was an air transportation journeyman loading and unloading passengers and cargo at Scott AFB, Incirlik AB, and McGuire AFB until 1999. Selected to teach at the Air Mobility Warfare Center in 1999, earned a BS in education taking night and weekend classes. Became a logistics readiness officer in 2002 and worked in aerial ports and logistics readiness squadrons at Dover AFB, Lackland AFB, Osan AB, and Lajes Field, Azores until retiring in 2012. The highlights of my career were being an instructor at the logistics readiness officers course and my final assignment as the director of operations.
